Get Ready for the Calland & Campbell Trivia Bash — September 18
The countdown is ON! We’re less than a month away from the Calland & Campbell Insurance Trivia Bash on Thursday, September 18 at 2:30 PM, and we couldn’t be more excited. This event is the perfect blend of fun, education, and community—whether you’re coming to compete or just enjoy the company and free appetizers.
Our trivia topics this year cover a little something for everyone: Classic TV, Springfield History, 60s Music, and of course, Medicare Basics. If you're aiming to take home the win, brushing up on all four topics is key—but we’ll let you in on a few hints when it comes to the Medicare portion.
For example, do you know which federal health insurance program is primarily for people who are 65 or older? That’s Medicare, and it's a central part of the discussion during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). Medicare is divided into parts, and understanding the basics could give you a leg up during trivia. Part A is known for covering hospital insurance, while Part B generally covers doctor visits and outpatient care. If prescription drug coverage is brought up, remember that’s Part D—an easy way to recall it is “D for drugs.” It also helps to know that the Medicare program is overseen by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, or CMS.
Whether you’re coming solo or bringing a friend, everyone is sure to leave a little smarter and a lot more entertained. In addition to a lively trivia competition, the event will include a chance to learn more about Medicare in a relaxed, approachable setting before AEP begins. There will be free appetizers, expert guidance, and plenty of laughs.
The event is hosted by Calland & Campbell Insurance and will take place at United Senior Services (USS). RSVP today by calling 937-917-8942 or signing up at the United Senior Services (USS) front desk. For accommodations of persons with special needs at meetings, call 937-917-8942 TTY 711.
Please note: This event is not connected with or endorsed by any government agency or the Federal Medicare program.
We can’t wait to see you there—study up, bring your best guesses, and get ready to win!
